Truro couples took part in the wedding tea ceremony at Pendennis Castle in Falmouth

Some of Truro has an unusual wedding ceremony in a 16th century castle in Falmouth.
After getting married in the church of St. Clement in Truro, Ma Zarina and Alastair Stephens took part in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at Pendennis Castle.
Zarina said: "This is a Chinese tradition to hold a tea ceremony during the marriage as a sign of the two families receive the bride in their family.
"Although we were married in the church, we really want to take advantage of the beautiful castle remains as the setting for our tea ceremony because it has a fantastic atmosphere.
"Red carpet and red chairs make the perfect accompaniment red is the color of good luck in Chinese culture."
During the ceremony, the mother Zarina, Ramidah Rumjahn, gave Alastair leather belt, a traditional gift to symbolize that they will be forever bound together.
