Tea Recipes 1


Oolong Tea (For Slimming)


Description
Oolong tea is superior in aiding weight loss. The effect of this tea is to help reduce fat and it can be taken 3 times a day.
Ingredients
  • 4 rounded teaspoons of Green Oolong Tea
  • 3 cups (850ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Put Oolong tea in empty teapot.
  2. Pour boiling water on to tealeaves.
  3. Allow tea to stand 2 - 3 minutes.
  4. Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.


Banana Tea (For High Blood Pressure)


Description
This is great tasting tea that will help reduce high blood pressure.
Ingredients
  • Banana
  • 1 ½ teaspoon of Dragon Well Green Tea
  • 1 ½ cups (430ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Peel and cut off 3 cm banana.
  2. Mash the banana in mug.
  3. Add green tea.
  4. Pour boiling water on to content.
  5. Allow tea to stand 2 - 3 minutes.
  6. Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.


Lotus Tea (For High Blood Pressure)


Description
The lotus nut is the seed of the lotus plant. These fat round nuts are found within the round seedpod, which as a flat top with large round holes in it. The nuts look rather like peanuts but have a brown skin.
Ingredients
  • 12 - 15 lotus nuts
  • 2 teaspoon of Mao Jian Green Tea
  • 3 cups (850ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Add lotus nuts and green tea into teapot.
  2. Pour boiling water on to content.
  3. Allow tea to stand for 6 minutes.
  4. Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.


Chrysanthemum Tea (For Reducing Internal Heat & Mild Sunstroke)




Description
This great tasting tea cleanses your body and reduces internal heat. In summer, when it is very hot, people run the risk of getting sunstroke. The chrysanthemum teas can help prevent and treat mild sunstroke.
Ingredients
  • 10 - 20 Golden Chrysanthemum Tea
  • 1 - 3 teaspoon of honey or rock sugar
  • 3 cups (850ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Wash and drain chrysanthemum flowers.
  2. Add 10 - 20 yellow chrysanthemum flowers into teapot.
  3. Add 1 - 3 teaspoon of honey or rock sugar.
  4. Pour boiling water on to content.
  5. Allow tea to stand for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.


Peanut & Ginger Tea (For Restoring Health & Vigor)





Description
This is very good tonic tea to take when you are exhausted from overwork or if you are feeling run down.
Ingredients
  • 20 raw peanuts with skin
  • 5 - 6 slice of root ginger
  • 2 teaspoon of Yunnan Black Tea
  • 3 cups (850ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Cut 5 - 6 slices of ginger.
  2. Take 20 raw peanuts and chop them roughly with a knife.
  3. Put the ginger, peanuts, and tea into teapot.
  4. Pour boiling water on to content.
  5. Allow tea to stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.


Lichee & Plum Tea (For Restoring Health & Vigor)









Description
This tea is delicious and a favorite in boosting energy level. Only take this tea twice a week.
Ingredients
  • 1 fresh lichee
  • 1 preserved plum
  • 1 piece of rock sugar
  • 1 thin slice of ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of Lichee Black Tea
  • 1 ½ cups (430ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Add lichee, preserved plum, rock sugar, ginger, and Lichee Black Tea into large mug.
  2. Pour boiling water on to content.
  3. Allow tea to stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Stir the tea.
  5. Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.
