Longan Tea (For Restoring Health & Vigor)



Description
This tea is delicious and a favorite in boosting energy level. Longan look similar to lichee in size and shape but have smooth pale brown skins. It is a prized item in Chinese medicine.
Ingredients
  • 1 fresh longan
  • 1 preserved plum
  • 1 piece of rock sugar
  • 1 thin slice of ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of Organic Tianmu Yunding Green Tea
  • 1 ½ cups (430ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Add longan, preserved plum, rock sugar, ginger, and green tea into large mug.
  2. Pour boiling water on to content.
  3. Allow tea to stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Stir the tea.
  5. Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.

  8. This energy boosting tea has a delightful nutty flavor.


Dry Fried Rice Tea (For Restoring Health & Vigor)
Description
This tea has a nutty flavor and is very popular in Japan.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup of long grain rice
  • 2 - 3 teaspoon of Jasmine Green Tea
  • 3 cups (850ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Heat the wok and put in the rice (note: don't put oil).
  2. Stir fry the rice until the grains are lightly golden and smell toasty.
  3. Add 5 teaspoon of dry fried rice and jasmine green tea in teapot.
  4. Pour boiling water into teapot.
  5. Allow tea to stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.


Eight Treasure Tea (For Restoring Health & Vigor)
Description
This very healthy, energy boosting tea can be taken twice a week.
Ingredients
  • 2 White Chrysanthemum flowers
  • 1 small piece of dried mandarin orange peel
  • 1 longan
  • 1 red date
  • 1 tiny piece of ginseng root
  • 1 dried medlar berry
  • 1 piece of rock sugar
  • 1 dried apple slice
  • 1 teaspoon of Dragon Well Green Tea
  • 1 ½ cups (430ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Put all the ingredients into a large mug.
  2. Pour boiling water into mug.
  3. Allow tea to stand for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Stir and drink tea.


Shrimp Tea (For Strengthening the Immune System)
Description
The shrimp this tea is tiny, dried, and orange color shrimps in plastic package from Chinese markets.
Ingredients
  • 30 dried shrimps
  • 3 teaspoon of Wuyi Rock Tea
  • 3 cups (850 ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Rinse the 30 shrimps in boiling water.
  2. Put the shrimps and tealeaves in a mug.
  3. Pour boiling water into mug.
  4. Allow tea to stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Stir and drink tea.


Red Date Tea (For Restoring Blood)
Description
This is a popular tea among Chinese used in a restorative tea for after childbirth or menstruation, or for anyone who has suffered blood loss. The Chinese red date is also known jujube.
Ingredients
  • 3 teaspoon of Jujube Honey Concentrate
  • 1 teaspoon of Emerald Petals Green Tea
  • 3 cups (850ml) of water
Instruction
  1. Put 3 teaspoon of Jujube Honey Concentrate and 1 teaspoon of green tea into teapot.
  2. Pour boiling water into teapot and stir.
  3. Allow tea to stand for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.
