Make Flavored Water At Home

It is very important to drink enough water on a daily basis but sometimes water tastes so uninspiring that we forget to drink it. The drink industry is flooded with flavored water of all types. Many of these flavored waters taste delicious. But it is expensive to purchase on a daily basis. The only solution is to make your own flavored water. It’s very simple and inexpensive way to stay well hydrated.

You can make flavored water at home. You can have water that is refreshing simply by adding a little of your own natural flavors. Some of the home based flavored water can be made with cucumber, citrus, mint, Rasberry, tea leaves etc.

Wash cucumber and cut it into thin slices then add these slices into water with ice. Mint leaves give water refreshing taste. Wash the mint leaves, crush it little bit and add this in water with ice. Tea is a great way to add natural flavor to your drinking water as well. If you prefer sweet waters then you can add a little bit of grape or cranberry juice to your water. Ginger is a great way to add a “zing” to your water. If it is added to boiling water it is also a great way to clear your throat and sinus during cold. Certain herbs like Mint, lemongrass and parsley are great for adding aroma and a hint of green to your water. Add plum wine in water, as it tastes very well. Plum wine is a sweet Japanese liquere made from green plums. Blueberries and strawberries are unique flavors that could be soaked in water. You have to just cut or crush a few of the berries into your water. You can also add vinegar to water which is similar to adding citrus. You will get sour water.

Buying flavored water every time is very expensive instead of that if you buy flavored drops it would cost you less. You can buy different flavored drops like Amaretto, Banana cream, cinnamon, Coffee Bean, Cool Mint, French vanilla, Hazelnut Vanilla, Irish cream etc from online stores. Just buy your favorite flavored drop from an online store. It is very easy to make flavored water without any effort. Just add a few drops of the flavor in the water and mix it. You can add ice if you wish too. Unlike syrups, flavor drops dissolve instantly. You can use them to flavor shakes, smoothies, baked goods, water or even fresh brewed Coffee or Tea. Apart from restaurants, bakeries are now using flavor drops for cake decoration and cupcake icings, pie fillings and cookie dough. Flavor drops are Gluten-free for diet-conscious customers and vegetarians may know they contain no animal products of any kind.
